Antioch man in stable condition after shooting

A man uncovered shot in the arm in Antioch on Thursday was in stable condition at a hospital police disclosed According to an Antioch Police Department news release the victim is a -year-old man whom officers did not identify Police noted they responded to a revealed shooting about p m Thursday in the block of Crater Peak Way and discovered the man who d been shot at least once in the arm Police announced they were canvassing the area and had not identified a suspect Based on the initial research it appears to be an isolated event the news release announced However the shooting comes on the heels of another in Antioch this week that left a woman in critical condition That shooting happened at about p m on Tuesday in the block of Delta Fair Boulevard Responding officers exposed a -year-old woman with at least one gunshot wound and she was taken by ambulance to a hospital Police disclosed sparse details but announced the circumstance is likely isolated as well
