New farmers market in Shops of Dunwoody seeks to be community meeting spot

More than people came to the first Shops of Dunwoody Farmers Area Photo provided by Polina Williams There s a new farmers field in town and from the looks of its first week it s going to become a Dunwoody favorite On June the inaugural Shops of Dunwoody Farmers Territory opened for business with vendors and visitors according to Polina Williams of SPS Productions who also began the Chamblee Farmers Arena in April The region which will run through the end of November on Sundays from a m to p m includes a great number of vendors who do not frequent the Dunwoody Homeowners Association Region on Saturdays at Brook Run Park Williams revealed We want everyone to succeed not at the expense of another so we don t have a lot of overlap with the vendors we have at the Shops of Dunwoody Williams declared We do have a sparse that overlap with the Chamblee sphere Williams who grew up Dunwoody explained the journey to establish local farmers markets stemmed from her desire to connect with society Related Tucker Farmers Region connects area with music produce What s in season at your area farmers markets When I was younger I had a hard time in school I was heavily isolated and lacked communication skills she explained Shortly after high school I started a non-profit called The Push Back Project Our goal was to educate about bullying while building encouragement groups The success of the group led to a well-attended art benefit which spurred Williams to want to continue on her mission to develop more populace group opportunities and she hosted another art arena in with more than people in attendance After having two children Williams a Chamblee resident commented she saw the need for a farmers region in Chamblee and then Dunwoody Polina Williams stands outside of the Chamblee Farmers Region Supplied I knew the Shops of Dunwoody where I had so a great number of great memories had to be the location of our second industry Williams reported It was so great to stand in front of the sign when it went up with my company s name on it June vendors included local organic meats loose leaf wellness teas fruits and vegetables cold-pressed juice single-ingredient dog treats cupcakes in a jar sourdough bread spices and local honey So far Williams has more than vendors signing up for the June sector and feels like the momentum will continue More information can be discovered on the SPS Farmers Sector Facebook page The post New farmers sector in Shops of Dunwoody seeks to be population meeting spot appeared first on Rough Draft Atlanta
